REPORTING TO : Housekeeping and Laundry Manager
POSITION SUMMARY : To provide the highest quality housekeeping service to our Members and guests, while maintaining the service standards set forth by the Housekeeping Management team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily scheduled cleaning services as assigned by manager.
- Cleans bathrooms and stocks toiletries.
- Dusts all furniture, fixtures, woodwork and vents.
- Vacuums carpets and spot treats soiled areas.
- Sweeps, mops, buffs wood, tile and marble floors.
- Polishes all brass including railings, door handles, door plates and all brass fixtures.
- Maintains windows and glass both inside and out, between contract cleanings.
- Perform thorough deep cleaning of facility as required and scheduled by manager.
- Replaces burnt out light bulbs.
- Empties wastebaskets.
- Launders towels and linens.
- Maintain work carts with equipment and supplies.
- Ensures equipment and supplies are kept in a neat, orderly and properly functioning matter.
- Inventories supplies and equipment.
- Inspects work performed and ensures it meets the Club's established specifications and standards.
- Inspects club rooms while cleaning and reports back to manger any repairs or damages needed.
- Acknowledges Members and guests with a proper greeting and smile.
- Any and all other tasks assigned by the Housekeeping and Laundry Manager or General Manager.
