Restorative Aide (CNA)
Job Summary :
Royal Park Health and Rehabilitation is looking for a Restorative Aide (CNA) responsible for providing restorative care to patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The aide will work with patients to improve their mobility, strength, and range of motion. The aide will also assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Essential Functions :
Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve their mobility, strength, and range of motion
Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor and record patient progress
Communicate with the nursing staff regarding patient care
Assist with transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment
Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
Qualifications :
Required : Current certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Employment
Required : High school graduate or equivalent
Required : Experience working as a Restorative Aide
Preferred : Completed a course designed to specifically train Restorative Aides
Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and nursing staff
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical ability to lift and transfer patients
