Royal Pest Control is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Business Development & Sales Representative. This is a commission-only, high-earning role ideal for an energetic professional who excels at generating new business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue through door-to-door (d2d) sales, business-to-business (B2B) engagements, and active participation in local networking events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Conduct door-to-door sales in designated territories to identify and qualify potential residential and commercial clients.
- Research and approach local businesses to present Royal Pest Control's comprehensive pest control services.
- Networking & Relationship Building:
- Attend local networking events, community meetings, and industry conferences to generate leads and build strategic partnerships.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiations:
- Deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight the benefits of our services and address client pain points.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Monitor local market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide feedback to management on customer needs and industry trends.
- Reporting & Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow-up actions using our CRM system.
- Regularly report on performance metrics and sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar role—experience in pest control or related services is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in a commission-only environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to travel within designated territories and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
