Part - Time Front Desk Receptionist

This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join our team at Royal Pet Bakery & Grooming as a receptionist, initially part-time saturday 9 to 5 and sunday 10 to 3pm, posibilities to add more days during the week.

We require an employee that loves animals, has a good personal presentation, someone to be pleasant, have good listening and communications skills and be able to provide an excellent customer service. Also provide the correct information when asked, answer calls and enter a client in for an appointment, handle payment process.

Background and experience:

• Comfortable around dogs and cats
• Outgoing and friendly personality
• Caring and compassionate attitude towards patients and clients
• Exceptional communication and multi-tasking abilities
• Strong work ethic and ability to jump in and help where needed
• Familiar with (or eager to learn about) the veterinary field (terminology, procedures, medical conditions, etc.)
• English mandatory - Desirable Spanish Language.

Responsibilities:

• Client service and communication
• Greeting and discharging patients and clients
• Over the counter sales
• Scheduling appointments
• Entering and updating client and patient information
• General front desk duties (answering phones, emailing, filing, etc.)
