General Manager

Best Western Plus Hotel Waltham Boston is looking for a General Manager with strong operations experience. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate! 

We are specifically looking to hire a dynamic General Manager skilled in developing and training individuals and teams with the goal of providing a superior guest experience. You should be a good communicator and leader fostering a positive results-oriented team atmosphere.  

We are looking for a General Manager with a minimum of two years hotel management experience. We are searching for the individual that is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and jump right in to help the team. This is not a “desk” job, and we encourage management by walking around engaging with guests and staff. This person will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance and breakfast services.  

You must have superior guest service skills with an eye for quality while conducting regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are being met. You will need to maintain the property through a planned maintenance and deep clean program to ensure brand QA identified product and service standards are met.  

You will be responsible for directing the operations of the hotel to ensure a safe, secure and quality experience for each hotel guest and staff member. This individual must have strong multitasked abilities. Familiarity with Human Resources practices is recommended.
