This role involves safely operating a forklift in frozen cold storage to retrieve staged products for production activities. Additionally, the position includes assisting with the transfer of products from the vats to the dryer area,
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct forklift inspections and complete the inspection sheet.
- Operate forklifts safely, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Move pails, cases, or totes from frozen storage to production lines, while tracking and managing inventory transactions.
- Transfer products on hold to the resort area and remove final bins after the laser sorter and second dryer.
- Transport final dried products from the dryer area to storage locations near the infusion area.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dryer and infusion areas and report any spills or damage to the Lead/Manager.
- Keep outside areas tidy by stacking pallets, bins, and lugs neatly, and ensure all areas are free of trash and debris.
- Remove waste bins and garbage from the plant and place them in the appropriate containers or locations.
- Inspect pallets, pails, cases, and totes for acceptable condition before supplying them to production lines.
- Provide break relief for the dump tank operator as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Position Qualifications:
- Must have a valid forklift certification card and be capable of operating a 3-stage forklift in a racked frozen warehouse.
- Ability to interpret and distinguish lot numbers, tag numbers, warehouse locations, and various products received and produced.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding the English language.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Good attendance record and willingness to work overtime and at weekends as needed.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to complete tasks within the timelines set by the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report any safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Comply with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and all company policies.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent related experience
- Must possess a valid forklift certification card and experience driving a 3-stage forklift in a closed environment
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English and Spanish
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $18.50 per hour

- 8 hour shift
