Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician 2 is responsible for maintaining equipment to meet production requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Repairs and maintains process machinery and mechanical equipment including but not limited to conveyor systems, shakers, bearings, motors, gearboxes, pumps, boilers, ovens, fans, electric, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and various other processing equipment and machinery
· Preform Work Orders and complete all paper work related to work orders
· Follows safety procedures and good manufacturing practices for all work performed
· Troubleshoots and solves machine-related issues that cause production delays
· Performs routine preventive maintenance and paper work related to them
· Performs other tasks as assigned
Secondary Responsibilities: Maintain audit ready standards in maintenance area and shop equipment.

Education/Experience:
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
· Food processing maintenance preferred
· Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures and good manufacturing practices
· Experience using drills, grinders, hand tools, mustimeters, cutting tools.
· Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Physical Abilities:
· Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to:
o walk and climb stairs;
o utilize verbal and written communication to exchange information;
o clearly see 20 feet, with or without corrective lenses, have peripheral and depth perception and differentiate between colors;
o stand, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist;
o grasp, lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds;
