What are the responsibilities and job description for the Classified Tutor - Royal Middle School (GEAR UP) position at Royal School District 160?
Job Description
- Tutor will work with GEAR UP Site Coordinator in assisting students in all academic areas.
- Assist students in improving study skills necessary for improving academic performance.
- Tutor will conduct instructional exercises and activities that aim to meet GEAR UP objectives (i.e., Financial Aid Scholarships, Counseling, Advising, Academic Planning and Career Counseling, etc.) This content will be provided by GEAR UP Coordinators.
- Tutor will keep accurate records of attendance and other requirements of the GEAR UP grant.
Terms of Employment
- Starting Date: ASAP
- Times: Monday-Thursday, 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., through June 6th, 2024
- Salary: $18.00-$23.34 hourly per PSE Salary Schedule
