Salary: Per PSE - Salary Schedule- Custodian Step 2 (Per CBA)- $20.57
Hours: 8 hours per day

Main Responsibilities:
- Clean classrooms, gymnasiums, cafeterias, hallways, stairs, office space, and restrooms by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, cleaning windows, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Empty trash and garbage containers on a regular basis.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other small repairs.
- Notify the principal of any major repairs needed.
- Clean sidewalks and other areas as required during snow and debris removal.
- Prepare buildings for meetings and programs.
Requirements:
- Must have a current valid Washington State Driver's License.
- Be trustworthy and safety conscious.
- Ability to work independently with good initiative.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Write routine reports.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure.
- Solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly walk, use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear.
- Occasionally climb or balance.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
- Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
- Exposed to risk of electrical shock.
- Noise level is usually moderate.
