This role is onsite (with flexibility), located in the northern area of Fort Mill, SC, less than 2 miles off of I-77.
Reports to the head of Finance & Accounting.
Job Summary:
The Accounting Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, general accounting, month-end close, and the preparation of financial reporting packages. This position is presently an individual contributor, but will expand as the company grows.
Key Aspects:
- General Accounting: Oversee daily activities, assist with cash flow forecasting, ensure compliance with accounting standards, accrual calcs.
- Month-End Close: Participate in closing process, prepare & review journal entries and statements, prepare reports for upper management, prepare/review account reconciliations.
- Accounts Receivable: Process payments, review discounts, manage aging and discrepancies.
- Accounts Payable: Supervise invoice processing, review transactions, manage vendor relationships.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Assist with year-end financial statements and audit schedules. Understand cost accounting and bill of material. Prepare tax schedules for US and Canadian sales tax and VAT.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Support budgeting, forecasting, and special projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus (not required)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience optimizing accounting through automation or efficiency improvements is a plus.
- Willingness to help out with other tasks in a fast-growing company.

Salary : $95,000 - $115,000
