Royal South Toyota has a rare opportunity to join our Service Team as a Lube Technician! If you have experience working in an automotive shop, we'd like to speak with you! If you enjoy maintaining your own vehicles, we'd like to speak with you! If you want to get going on your career as a Toyota factory trained technician, we have a great starting point for you! We offer a busy service center based on our customer's trust and satisfaction knowing their vehicle has been properly serviced. We will train and support you with online training as well as the best Toyota trained technicians around. You only need to have a positive attitude, willingness to learn, be punctual and dependable to succeed with our team! For those showing promise & commitment, we will send and pay for Toyota training to earn your certification! Your day will consist of working directly with our Service Advisors to thoroughly inspect customer's vehicles. You will perform such services as oil changes, tire rotations, tire balancing, tire mounting, filter replacements to start. We will train you on our process. Your efficiency performing these tasks will lead to an hourly bonus rate when you meet set goals. The better you perform, the more you can earn per hour! We offer you digital tools to help translate your recommendations to our customers. Photos and videos of your suggested services will help you earn more per hour! You will also be expected to maintain a clean shop when business permits. We are open 6 days a week so working on Saturdays will be required.
Starting Pay Rate: Up to $23 per hour depending on your skills opportunities for bonuses!
Requirements
You must have a valid driver's license with a clean record. All will be checked for insurability.
You must be a team oriented person who is flexible and respectful to any fellow employees and be focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
You must be a punctual and dependable person. Our customers expect us ready and willing to service their vehicles on their time schedule.
Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire changing equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic and A/C equipment is a plus!
ASE Certification is a huge plus!
