Wondering how you can become our Construction Equipment Transportation Driver? Here's what we're looking for:
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- 3 years of experience transporting heavy equipment or oversized loads
- Proficiency with operating flatbeds, lowboys, and specialized trailers
- Knowledge of load securement, tie downs, weight limits, and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and complete quality work with minimal supervision
- Ability and willingness to do overnight stays and travel out of state
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
5 years of driving experience would be ideal.

Our Construction Equipment Transportation Driver is responsible for safely loading up trailers with heavy equipment and driving them to local and out-of-state job sites. You perform pre-trip inspections, secure your load according to regulations, and ensure the weight is distributed equally before heading out. While you're on the road, you follow all traffic rules and regularly communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and clients. At the site, you safely unload the heavy equipment and perform a post-trip inspection to make sure everything looks good. Additionally, you perform basic truck maintenance and keep records of your trips.
