As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, enjoying evenings and weekends to recharge while contributing to dynamic, impactful projects.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
Your day will start with inspecting and maintaining the heavy machinery you'll be operating. You will bring plans and specifications to life by using GPS-controlled equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth with precision. Whether you're sloping, banking, backfilling, or stockpiling, you'll ensure all work meets the highest standards. You'll collaborate with crew members, provide guidance to laborers, and keep the job site clean and safe. As you work, you'll identify and navigate utility lines and buried structures, making safety your top priority. At the end of each day, you will document job production details using our company's mobile app, ensuring accurate reporting and seamless communication.
Here's what we need from you:
- 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Ability to provide professional references
- Ability to carry up to 70 lbs, sit, stand, walk, crawl, bend, and work in hot or cold environments
- Ability to use a smartphone and related applications
- Valid driver's license without any significant infractions
- Reliable transportation
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
