Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the kitchen staff with various tasks related to food preparation and service. Duties
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support cooks with food handling tasks, ensuring all safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Participate in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting shortages to kitchen management.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during meal periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and food handling practices is advantageous.
- A strong desire to learn about culinary processes and food preparation methods.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
