Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate / Parts Driver is a hybrid position combining warehouse responsibilities with parts delivery. This individual plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of parts and supplies within the facility and to our customers. This job description outlines the core responsibilities and requirements for this hybrid position but is not all-inclusive. Responsibilities may be modified or assigned as business needs evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verifying, loading, and delivering parts to customers and shop personnel
- Performing timely and professional deliveries using company vehicles
- Assisting with receiving, sorting, and organizing incoming products
- Preparing, packing, and shipping outgoing parts
- Supporting restocking and inventory rotation as directed by the Parts Manager
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Reporting product damage, shortages, or discrepancies to the Parts Manager
- Following all safety policies and delivery protocols
- Operating forklifts and material handling equipment (training provided; experience preferred)
- Representing the company with professionalism and customer-focused service
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse and/or delivery roles preferred
- Chauffeur's license or ability to obtain one is required
- Ability to safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and warehouse tools
- Forklift operation experience is a plus
- Familiarity with business and inventory control systems
- Familiarity with heavy-duty trucks and trailer parts is preferred
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-service focused
- Ability to lift or move up to 75-100 lbs. with or without assistance
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Pay
- $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience.
