Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience operating various machinery, including CNC machines. This role is essential in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery, including CNC machines to produce high-quality components.
- Perform setup and adjustments on machines as needed to meet production specifications.
- Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure precision in manufacturing processes.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process.
- Assemble components as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with materials handling practices and safety procedures.
- Experience in welding, fabrication, or programming machinery is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
