Foreman

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Moving Foreman to lead a team of movers in the safe, efficient, and professional handling of clients' belongings. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a team of movers while ensuring a smooth, successful move from start to finish.

• Lead a team of movers during each move, ensuring that each job is completed efficiently, safely, and on time.
• Drive 26' Box Truck
• Inspect and prepare moving equipment, such as trucks, dollies, and straps, before each move.
• Ensure the safety of all movers and customers' property, enforcing proper lifting techniques and vehicle loading practices.
• Communicate with customers to address any concerns or special requests before, during, and after the move.
• Handle inventory and packing of customers' items, ensuring everything is properly wrapped, padded, and protected.
• Load and Unload Household Good Items from one location to the next, following the customer’s instructions.
• Resolve customer issues on-site, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Train and mentor new movers, fostering a team-oriented environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized moving truck, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.

Requirements:

• Previous moving or logistics experience (2 years preferred).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (preferred)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Choose your own hours
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Moving: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Work Location: On the road
