We are looking for a Commercial Project Manager to join our team to oversee commercial roofing crews and ensure the efficiency, timeliness and quality of new roof installations. This manager needs the ability to balance multiple tasks, communicate effectively and manage both internal and external situations. Knowledge of commercial roofing systems a plus, however, training will be provided. Bilingual in English and Spanish is also a plus but not necessary.
Responsibilities include :
- Document and communicate to management team the status of projects several times each day, ensuring that crew progress and schedules remain in sync
- Assist roofing foreman to overcome challenges encountered on projects
- Providing logistical direction and support to achieve on time installations
- Support Safety Manager with compliance of policies in the field
- Conduct employee meetings regularly and as needed to provide direction and training to crews
- Attend management meetings and contribute to company growth plan
- Assist in hiring and training crew members
- Supervise time and attendance of all crews
- Ensure completion of accurate job instruction packets
- Coordinate material planning and product / equipment delivery
- Review in progress and completion reports and use as management tools for improvements
