Job Title
Equipment Operator
Summary
Perform all assigned duties relating to shipment of goods to customers throughout the U.S. and foreign countries such as loading trucks, creating, and applying labels, moving product throughout facility, and weights.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year warehouse experience needed.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment.
Major Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of productivity, accuracy, and quality
- Ability to operate industrial power equipment such as Order Picker/Cherry Picker, Double Reach, Double Walkie Rider, etc.
- Ability to operate a computer to scan carton ID to obtain proper labels needed for shipment
- Ability to operate a handheld scanner.
- Must obtain power industrial equipment certification through the company training program.
- Responsible for examining all exterior information to ensure cartons are neat, legible and meets all customer requirements.
- Ability to read and understand all shipping instruction from customer.
- Ability to obtain proper documentation for each shipment
- Palletize and shrink wrap all loads when required
- Assist in loading trucks when required
- Responsible for moving and locating products throughout warehouse using assigned equipment such as hand jacks and industrial power equipment.
- Cross training in other areas will be required

Physical Demands

Work Environment
This position is a warehouse position and will be exposed to moderate noise, dust, and changing temperatures
