Security Officer

Royce - US Protection Service is currently hiring for Armed and Unarmed Security Officers in the Dayton OH area!

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer(s) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any irregularities or violations.
• Manage conflicts effectively and de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide assistance during investigations.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• is advantageous.
• Familiarity with conflict management techniques.
• Knowledge of loss prevention practices is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Over 21 years old
• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
• 20 hour OPOTA Certificate (Armed only)
