Position Summary (major areas of contribution) :

The Arc Welder is responsible for the proper use of all MIG welding equipment. Welding in various positions, in a safe productive manner.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities :

• Operate MIG welding equipment.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions.
• Examine weld for bead size and other specifications.
• Clean or degrease weld joints.
• Prepare broken parts for welding.
• Tack assemblies together.
• Properly Moving and stacking materials.

Minimum Qualifications / Skills :

Requirements :

Must be able to read and understand assembly drawings, sketches and blueprints.

Must be able to accurately identify measurements of parts and determine required machine operations from the measurement. Basic math and mechanical ability.

Physical Requirements

Working Hours

Normal workdays are Monday - Friday 6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm. Overtime is required when necessary and will change the work hours to 6 : 00am – 4 : 30pm. Some Saturdays will be required as needed.
