Hospice Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN / LPN)
Friday's and Saturday's
Must be able to cover Los Angeles / South Bay / San Bernardino Areas
Hourly Rate $35 - 8 hours pay guaranteed mileage reimbursement.

POSITION SUMMARY
This night shift On-Call position covers themidnight to 8 a.m. shift. During thisshift the LVN is available to travel to visit patients at their place ofresidence. The LVN is compensated for the full shift whether visits arenecessary or not during the night shift.
Under thedirection of a Registered Nurse, the hospice LVN provides skilled nursing andpalliative care to patients at their place of residence. The LVN workscooperatively with other Interdisciplinary Team members and providesintermittent visits or shifts of skilled nursing care, including painmanagement / symptom control, and nursing observations, The LVN providesinformation about the expected course of the illness, care techniques and otherhealth measures to patients, family members or primarycaregivers. The LVN participates in the care plan development andimplementation. Must be able to utilize computers and be comfortablewith electronic medical records.
