Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator to join our team at ROZELL. This individual will be responsible for handling estimates, proposals, and related documents with precision and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Extract material requirements from isometric drawings and P&IDs for applications such as piping, mechanical, and other construction projects.
- Gather and prepare work for estimation by collecting proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to generate accurate time, cost, material, and labor estimates.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive estimates and material orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain a directory of reliable suppliers, contractors, and sub-contractors.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry.
- Thorough knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints, including layout, notation, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with construction materials, standard bid practices, and industry regulations.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with project members to ensure seamless information exchange.
- Understanding of process flow and organizational principles to ensure accurate and well-organized information release to Project Management.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
