JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Cloud Security Architect to take charge of our enterprise security architecture, spanning across on-premises, cloud environments, and emerging security risks.
- In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams—including business, infrastructure, and IT—ensuring our security posture is resilient and aligned with industry best practices.
- You'll lead security assessments, vulnerability evaluations, and cybersecurity projects, while guiding and mentoring a talented team to safeguard the organization’s assets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Architect and manage enterprise security frameworks, ensuring full alignment with company goals and best practices across diverse technology landscapes (on-premises, cloud, and evolving security threats).
- Lead the deployment and management of comprehensive security solutions to protect the organization’s infrastructure.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security reviews, driving remediation efforts in collaboration with various teams.
- Provide expert recommendations on security controls, best practices, and security standards for both cloud-based and on-premise IT solutions.
- Lead in-depth security investigations, documenting findings, and delivering actionable insights for resolving complex issues while maintaining forensic integrity.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across security processes and technologies.
- Mentor and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, ensuring optimal resource allocation and fostering career growth.
- Drive cybersecurity project management efforts, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and align with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) and cross-functional teams to strengthen detection and response capabilities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 7-10 years of experience in IT with a specialized focus on Cybersecurity and Cloud Security.
- 4 years of experience in Cloud Security architecture.
- Relevant certifications like CISSP, CCSP, or AWS/Azure Certified Security Specialist are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management experience within cybersecurity teams and initiatives.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols, network security architecture, and engineering practices.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle) and on-premises security technologies.
- Extensive hands-on experience with security tools, including Endpoint Security, SIEM, DLP, IRM, vulnerability assessments, and patch management.
- Strong grasp of risk management and vulnerability mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with NIST and SANS security standards and frameworks.
- Solid hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, Oracle DB, and SQL Server technologies.
- Basic knowledge of ITIL principles.
- Exceptional project management abilities, including planning, execution, and oversight.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
- Must be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
