R.P. Marzilli has been installing and maintaining New England’s finest residential landscapes since 1985. We are seeking an associate to assist our Yard Operations in our Williamstown, MA location
The Yard Associate is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the operations of the yard by performing a variety of tasks. This role involves supporting the crew, maintaining nursery stock, and performing light mechanical work. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking to minimize downtime and keep our teams running smoothly
Responsibilities:
Load/unload trailers with plant and other material and ensure they are properly tarped.
Clean bathrooms and wash and grease equipment in the yard.
Mow the nursery and maintain the overall appearance of the grounds.
Perform light mechanical work as needed.
Wash and wax all trucks and equipment, and run errands during the winter months.
Operate machinery such as Skid Steer, Forklift, Loader, or Excavator
Qualifications:
Ability to perform physical tasks and operate equipment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Basic mechanical knowledge.
Attention to detail and proactive attitude.
Good communication skills.
Working Conditions:
Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
