What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Technical Designer for Apparel position at RP55 Group Inc.?

  • Must have a strong interest in Surf, Skate, streetwear Apparel.

Assist design teams in producing digital, print, packaging, outdoor, point-of-sale graphics.

  • Utilize both creative and technical skills to ensure the creative concepts are executed correctly.
  • Collaborate closely with art directors, designers and developers.
  • Design from concept to creation full range of graphic content across a range of garment bodies.
  • Participates in concept presentation, building client presentations, and line building recaps.
  • Assist in researching seasonal fashion trend direction, assortment opportunities, current market trends in garment decoration processes for art locations & techniques and adopts new art/technique concepts accordingly into technical skillset.

And Other Things You'll Do...

  • Develop complete tech packs in coordination with the design team, including: detailed specifications, fabrications, and technical drawings
  • Responsible for the technical execution, to include with drawings, including measurements, color pantones, and design detail specifications of all illustrative art.
  • Responsible for tech packs maintenance, tracking changes/additions, and clear timely communication with cross-function partners across international production managers, technical design team, merchandising, and sales.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of current and past assortment. Including decoration techniques, silhouettes, yarns/fabrics and design details.

What You'll Need To Succeed...

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent industry related experience
  • Proficient in Macintosh computer applications and Adobe Creative Suite graphic design software
  • Must have 2 years of Graphic Art Design experience in Apparel industry
  • Must have strong awareness of Streetwear and Surf / Skate brands and current trends
  • Must be extremely proficient in Adobe Illustrator
  • Must be extremely proficient in Adobe Photoshop

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,369.00 - $50,000.00 per year
