We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their skills in accounting and finance while contributing to the smooth operation of our business. The Bookkeeper will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting the accounting team.
32 hours a week: Tuesday-Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist in preparing invoices, expense reports, and financial statements.
- Maintain and organize financial records, receipts, and supporting documentation.
- Support the preparation of monthly and year-end closings.
- Assist with tax filings as needed.
- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve any financial discrepancies.
- Perform additional administrative or accounting tasks as required.
