Position Overview:
The Certified Debt Specialist plays a key role in converting leads by educating clients, conducting prequalification assessments, and building strong relationships to support the company’s revenue objectives. This role reports directly to the Director of Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and evaluate client financial details, including income, assets, and liabilities
- Recommend appropriate debt management solutions tailored to each client’s financial situation
- Prequalify and enroll clients into the most suitable programs based on their debt profile
- Educate clients on the benefits and drawbacks of various debt relief options
- Actively promote and explain available debt management services
- Support departmental operations with additional tasks as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years in a sales-focused role (required)
- Excellent rapport-building and active listening skills, with empathy for clients navigating financial challenges
- Driven, competitive, enthusiastic, and adaptable to change
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
