Senior Payroll Specialist - Onsite, M-F
Position Purpose:
The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing and executing all administrative tasks related to payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage biweekly and weekly payrolls from start to finish.
- Accurately enter and maintain payroll data in Paycom HRIS, including direct deposits, salary adjustments, hours worked, PTO, bonuses, reimbursements, and deductions.
- Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Process new hire paperwork, ensuring accurate and complete employee records.
- Handle employment verifications.
- Generate and distribute biweekly payroll reports covering gross pay, deductions, and taxes.
- Review W-2 statements for accuracy and compliance.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies related to timekeeping, deductions, and employee information.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll processing and tax compliance. Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in payroll processing and HRIS systems, particularly Paycom.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, and tax compliance.
- High level of confidentiality, ethics, and integrity.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Advanced technical skills, including experience with payroll software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Salary : $57,000 - $83,000
