Job Title: Yard Worker
Job Summary:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Yard Worker to join our team. The Yard Worker will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the yard, assisting with loading and unloading materials, and operating equipment as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies
- Organize and maintain yard inventory in a neat and accessible manner
- Operate forklifts, loaders, or other machinery (if certified)
- Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Assist customers and team members with locating and moving materials
- Perform general maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, debris removal, and minor repairs
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
- Report any damages, shortages, or safety concerns to management
Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and perform physical labor
- Experience operating forklifts or other equipment (preferred but not required)
- Basic understanding of yard organization and material handling
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
