Based on candidate's experience will oversee one or more of our medical practices within the Roswell Park Care Network, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, exceptional patient experiences, and efficient workflows. This role is responsible for supervising staff, managing resources, vendor and financial oversight, and maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Practice Manager serves as a key leader within the practice, fostering a positive work environment collaborating effectively with physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs), and driving operational excellence to support organizational goals.

  • Oversee the daily operations of the medical practice, including patient scheduling, billing, and administrative workflows, to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Monitor practice performance metrics, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and patient care.
  • Manage practice policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor practice staff, including administrative and clinical team members, to ensure high performance and engagement.
  • Coordinate staff schedules to meet patient care demands and operational needs.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, providing updates, training, and feedback to promote continuous improvement.
  • Manage practice budgets in collaboration with the Director of Operations, monitoring expenses and ensuring financial sustainability.
  • Oversee billing processes to ensure timely and accurate revenue cycle management.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to support operational and financial goals.
  • Ensure patients receive exceptional service by promoting a culture of empathy, responsiveness, and professionalism.
  • Address patient concerns and complaints promptly, escalating issues to the Director of Operations when necessary.
  • Implement quality and process improvement initiatives to meet or exceed operational, clinical, safety, and patient experience standards.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA) and safety protocols (e.g., OSHA).
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate training programs for staff to stay informed of regulatory updates and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field preferred
  • For OM, minimum 2-3 years office management experience.
  • For PM, minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare operations or practice management, office management.
  • Proven track record to manage financials and drive great patient experience.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and practice management software.
  • Experience in process improvement, patient satisfaction, and staff leadership.
  • Solid financial acumen.
