We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabrication & Body Repair Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in welding, metalworking, and vehicle body repairs. In this position, you will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and modifying metal components on commercial vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and buses. You’ll work with a variety of tools and materials to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and durability in every repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural repairs and modifications on vehicle bodies using welding and metalworking techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication.
- Operate various hand and power tools, including welding equipment, grinders, and CNC machinery.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components to fit vehicle specifications.
- Ensure all work meets industry safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
A successful candidate will have at least two years of experience in fabrication or a related field. Strong welding skills, particularly in MIG, TIG, and stick welding, are essential. You should also have experience using metalworking tools and machinery and be comfortable reading blueprints to ensure accuracy in fabrication.
Additionally, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are key traits we value. A strong commitment to workplace safety is a must.
