As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dedicated Commercial Water Treatment Specialist to join our field operations and help us elevate the standard of water quality and system performance.
Position Overview
In this full-time, on-site role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing commercial water treatment systems. Your work will support essential facilities and businesses by ensuring they have consistent access to clean, safe water. The position is based in Baltimore, MD, with assignments in Cecil County, Harford County, and Baltimore County.
As a specialist, you’ll be expected to manage day-to-day system operations, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment issues in the field. You’ll work with advanced systems such as Reverse Osmosis (RO), Deionization (DI), and high-purity water systems, adjusting process controls and chemical dosing as needed to ensure optimal performance. Accurate recordkeeping will be a key part of your responsibilities, along with collaborating closely with other team members to meet regulatory standards and ensure operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who understands the science behind water treatment and has a practical, hands-on approach to solving technical problems. Familiarity with water system operations and a working knowledge of RO and DI systems are strongly preferred. You should be comfortable in dynamic, field-based environments and capable of adapting quickly to challenges. Strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset are essential. If you’re certified as a Water Treatment Plant Operator by the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE), that’s a big plus—but we’re also open to candidates with equivalent industry experience and the motivation to grow.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly wage starting at $28.00 to $33.00, based on experience and qualifications. After a 90-day probationary period, you’ll gain access to company vehicles and additional benefits.
