Territory Manager – Sports Betting Promotions
Overview:
Join a fast-paced and growing industry as a Territory Manager. In this role, you will oversee and expand a designated territory, focusing on customer sign-ups, team management, and partnership building. Your primary responsibilities will include hiring and coaching a team of brand ambassadors, maintaining strong relationships with partner venues, and meeting weekly sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Sign-Ups
- Achieve a minimum of 100 customer sign-ups per week.
- Maintain at least 10 active partner bars and manage a team of 3 core ambassadors and 3 backups.
- Personally generate 20 sign-ups per week, focusing on:
- Opening new bars and training new ambassadors.
- Filling in when ambassadors are unavailable.
- Managing high-priority or sensitive bar relationships.
- Work Thursday-Sunday primarily on sales and sign-ups, ensuring peak performance during high-traffic sports events.
Team Leadership & Recruiting
- Hire and train a strong team of ambassadors using multiple sourcing methods:
- Personal connections and referrals.
- Engaging customers who may be interested in sports betting promotions.
- External recruiting partners and job postings.
- Provide hands-on coaching, especially in the first few weeks, ensuring new ambassadors reach 10 sign-ups per shift.
- Foster a supportive environment—coaching, motivating, and maintaining high ambassador retention.
Bar & Business Partnerships
- Develop direct relationships with bar owners—bypassing staff to negotiate partnerships effectively.
- Expand the network by identifying new bars, events, and sponsorships.
- Explore non-bar opportunities, such as:
- Local festivals, charity events, and golf tournaments.
- Tailgating at sports games.
- Partnerships with influencers or sports clubs to host special promotions.
Operations & Administration
- Monday-Wednesday: Focus on bar outreach and recruiting.
- Complete three key admin tasks each week:
- Monday: Send ambassadors a schedule based on sports events and bar traffic.
- Tuesday: Process payroll.
- Ongoing: Manage WhatsApp groups for financial tracking, team communication, and scheduling.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Comfortable engaging customers in high-energy environments (sports bars, events, nightlife settings).
- Proven ability to build and lead a team, with strong coaching and motivational skills.
- Sales, business development, or promotional experience is a plus.
- Self-driven and goal-oriented, with the ability to consistently hit sales targets.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Earnings: $80k-150k (uncapped commission, profit sharing, and bonuses).
- Schedule: Primarily evenings and weekends to align with major sports events.
- Location: In-person role with travel within the assigned territory.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
