Inside Sales Administrator Location : Arlington, VA Salary Range : $50,000 - $60,000 base plus commission Position Overview : We are seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Administrator to join our team in Arlington, VA. This hybrid role combines federal sales administration with inside sales expertise, focusing on driving growth in federal and B2B markets. The ideal candidate will manage bids, proposals, and contract data while leveraging industry knowledge and exceptional relationship-building skills to achieve sales goals. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both administrative excellence and sales success by fostering strong connections with federal agencies and private sector clients. Key Responsibilities : Federal Sales Administration : Research and monitor bid platforms to identify and track active Requests for Quotes (RFQs) related to federal sales. Maintain and update federal registrations, including GSA schedules, Representations and Certifications (REPS), and Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive offers and proposals that comply with government procurement standards. Manage the full lifecycle of bid responses, ensuring accurate and timely submissions. Pursue contract renewals and extensions, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Inside Sales Development : Proactively engage with potential clients through prospecting methods such as calls, emails, and social media outreach. Deliver customized presentations to effectively communicate value propositions and address client needs. Prepare and present price quotations and service agreements. Actively participate in sales meetings, share strategies, and embrace coaching to enhance performance. Track and manage leads and interactions within the CRM system to maintain an organized sales pipeline. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in federal sales administration or B2B sales. Strong understanding of federal procurement processes, including GSA schedules. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, especially in the construction technology or equipment sectors. Proficiency in CRM tools, bid platforms, and standard office software. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset, capable of working both independently and collaboratively. Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
