What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Order Entry Pharmacy Technician (Long-Term Care) Albany, NY position at RPh on the Go?
We are seeking an experienced New York Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, 8-week contract-to-hire opportunityin Albany.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM rotating shifts. (Must be able to work1 weekend per month.)
Responsibilities:
Input prescription information into the pharmacy system, including patient details, drug details, and physician information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company protocols and regulations.
Assist pharmacists by reviewing orders for completeness and clarifying missing or unclear information to maintain medication safety standards.
Coordinate with healthcare providers, customers, and team members to resolve order-related issues, ensure timely processing, and address customer inquiries professionally.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of previous Pharmacy technician experience.
- Order Entry experience.
- Pharmacy Technicianlicense is a plus, but not required.
