- Monday Friday: 8:00 AM 9:00 PM (or until e)
- Saturday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM (or until e)
- Sunday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (or until e)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee the operations of the Pharmacy Department. This is a Temp to Perm position, starting with a 13-week assignment. The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for supervising pharmacy technicians, ensuring accurate prescription dispensing, managing stock levels, and providing strong customer service. The role requires solid experience, the ability to work independently, and excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Manage Pharmacy Technicians: Provide direction and guidance to pharmacy staff, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Prescription Accuracy: Oversee the dispensing of prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, place orders as needed, and ensure the pharmacy is adequately stocked.
- Medication Therapy (MT), Immunization Management (IMMR): Perform medication therapy management services and immunization-related duties as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including assisting patients with medication-related questions and resolving issues as they arise.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 Year of Pharmacy Experience is required.
- NY Pharmacy License must be clear and active.
- LTC (Long-Term Care) Experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Strong ability to manage both people and processes in a busy pharmacy setting.
