RPh on the Go is actively seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a full-time position in Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospital pharmacist looking to work in a fast-paced inpatient setting. This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday, rotating first and second shift. Job Responsibilities :
- Perform medication order entry, verification, and dispensing using Cerner Med Manager.
- Manage Pyxis automation systems for medication storage and distribution.
- Review physician orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions.
- Provide clinical support and drug therapy recommendations to healthcare staff.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state, and federal regulations.
- Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding as needed.
- Participate in medication management, patient education, and discharge counseling.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
