We are seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician for a 13 week temp-to-perm opportunity in a long-term care pharmacy in Cleveland, OH. This role requires experience in IV sterile compounding and will support the Infusion departments daily operations while ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and state and federal regulations.
Schedule:
Monday Friday, 2:00 PM 10:30 PM, with every third weekend.
Responsibilities:
- Perform IV sterile compounding, including mixing IV medications.
- Fill IV orders while applying all sterile techniques.
- Mathematically calculate doses and ensure accuracy.
- Assist the IV Manager with day-to-day operational needs.
Requirements:
- Active Ohio pharmacy technician license in good standing (no negative history).
- PTCB certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of IV sterile compounding experience.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting required.
