Location : Long-Term Care (LTC) Mail Order Pharmacy
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 2 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays
Position Summary :
Are you a licensed pharmacist with a passion for delivering excellent patient care? We have an exciting 12-week contract opportunity for a Staff Pharmacist to work in a Long-Term Care (LTC) mail order pharmacy, with a chance for direct hire based on performance. This role is perfect for someone looking to enhance their expertise in LTC pharmacy while making a real difference in patient outcomes.
What Youll Be Doing :
- Dispensing medications accurately and reviewing prescriptions for completeness and correctness
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to provide optimal medication therapy management
- Educating patients on the safe use of their medications and addressing any questions
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Maintaining proper medication inventory and assisting with order processing
