Pharmacy Technician Order Entry (Mid Shift, Tues-Fri) 12-Week Contract with Pathway to Permanent Hire
Position Overview :
Were searching for a detail-oriented and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a well-established LTC and retail pharmacy team. This is a 12-week contract opportunity that could lead to a permanent position based on performance. As part of the team, you will focus on the crucial task of order entry, ensuring medication orders are accurately processed for patient care.
Work Schedule :
Tuesday : 9 : 00 AM 7 : 30 PM
Wednesday : 10 : 00 AM 9 : 00 PM (close)
Thursday : 10 : 00 AM 9 : 00 PM (close)
Friday : 9 : 00 AM 7 : 30 PM
Key Responsibilities :
Process medication orders, ensuring all details such as dosage and patient information are entered correctly.
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to resolve any issues or discrepancies with prescriptions.
Maintain a high level of accuracy in the order entry process to ensure patient safety.
Communicate effectively with patients when needed, answering questions and providing guidance on their prescriptions.
Ensure all orders are completed within the required time frames and meet safety standards.
What We Need From You :
Experience : At least 6 months of order entry experience in a pharmacy, ideally within LTC or retail pharmacy settings.
License : Valid and active Oregon Pharmacy Technician License.
Skills : Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multitask : You should be comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously while staying organized.
