Pharmacy Supervisor for Pharmacy Technicians
Location: Peridot, AZ (Local candidates preferred)
Schedule: Monday Friday, Day Shift
Overview:
This role involves supervising pharmacy technicians and overseeing daily operations within the pharmacy. The position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards. You'll collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and pharmacy service efficiency.
- Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of pharmacist experience.
- At least two (2) years in hospital practice (preferred).
- Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience managing pharmacy technicians.
- 1-year residency (PGY1) (preferred).
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Current and active Pharmacist license (unrestricted); Arizona license preferred.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- License to administer immunizations, vaccines, and emergency medications (preferred).
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
