Pharmacy Technician - Order Entry

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician for an Order Entry role at our LTC Mail Order Pharmacy located at Media, PA. This position offers a 6 to 8-week contract, with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and supportive environment. As a Pharmacy Technician - Order Entry, you will play a critical role in processing medication orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely and precise delivery to our long-term care patients.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter medication orders into the pharmacy system.
• Ensure that all prescriptions and orders are processed according to established guidelines.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of all orders and related data.
• Address any issues or discrepancies related to medication orders in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Prior Pharmacy Technician experience, preferably in an order entry or LTC setting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
