Job Opportunity : Staff Pharmacist Specialty / Mail Order (Temp-to-Perm)

Location : Ontario, CA

Schedule :

Hours : Part-time (24-30 hours / week)
Days : Monday to Friday
Shift : 9 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM
Weekends : Closed

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join our team on a Temp-to-Perm basis. If you are passionate about ensuring safe, efficient medication management and enjoy supporting pharmacy technicians and staff, wed love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee pharmacy technicians, students, interns, and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Accurately fill prescriptions based on prescribing guidelines.

Conduct clinical screenings for potential drug interactions and patient safety.

Offer expert counseling to patients about medication usage and potential side effects.

Help develop and manage annual pharmacy budgets, ensuring accuracy.

Monitor and manage inventory and billing records with a focus on precision and compliance.

Support new business development and ensure that service delivery is on time and effective.

Desired Experience & Skills :

Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail or ambulatory pharmacy setting (preferred).

Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) for effective interactions with patients and clinic staff.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with exceptional attention to detail.

Analytical mindset for ensuring safe medication delivery.

Requirements :

Current, active California State Pharmacist License with no negative history.
