We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Staff Pharmacist to join a well-established pharmacy team in Aurora, Colorado, for a 13-week contract. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying medication orders, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and patient safety. This position offers the flexibility of a Friday-Monday schedule, providing you with long weekends while utilizing your expertise in the pharmacy field.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and verify medication orders to ensure correct dispensing
- Maintain accuracy in medication dispensing and ensure patient safety at all times
- Work closely with pharmacy technicians and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless operations
- Provide expert advice to patients regarding medication use and side effects
- Uphold all regulatory standards and best practices for medication management
- Active and valid Pharmacist License in Colorado
- Recent experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred
- Availability to work Friday through Monday, 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to patient care
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
