Job Title: Staff Pharmacist (PRN Coverage)
Location: Rowland, NC (Three locations within 15 minutes of each other)
Schedule:
PRN (As needed) coverage.
- Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
Duties:
- Perform all standard functions of a retail pharmacist, including but not limited to:
- Prescription verification
- Overseeing pharmacy technicians' work
- Providing patient counseling
- Administering vaccinations (as needed)
- Manage varying prescription volumes ranging from 150-350 per day, depending on the location.
- Utilize the Computer RX or Transaction Data Systems.
Requirements:
- Current and active North Carolina State Pharmacist license with no negative history.
- Flexibility with schedule and shift changes to meet the needs of the pharmacy and clients.
- Experience with Computer RX or Transaction Data Systems is preferred but not required.
- BLS certification.
- Certified Immunizer.
