Job Title: Travel Pharmacist with ER Experience
Location: Peridot, AZ
Assignment Terms:
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Overview:
- Volume: High-volume pharmacy, handling 1000 prescriptions per day
- Program System: ScriptPro Program Management System with SP200 Robot; transitioning to a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Automated Medication Dispensing System: Omnicell Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADCs), Carousel, and Kirby Lester counting machine
Essential Functions:
- Oversee daily administrative operations to ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement outcome measures and tracking systems to improve financial and operational efficiency.
- Lead the development and evaluation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Assess program effectiveness and drive continuous process improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to staff for professional growth and to meet performance standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of professional pharmacy experience, with at least two years of management experience preferred.
- Bachelors degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred, including completion of a 1-year residency.
- 2 years of experience working in an Emergency Room (ER) setting.
- Current and active state unrestricted Pharmacy license; Arizona state license preferred.
- AHA/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
- This job is open to new graduates with PGY1 and/or PGY2 with some ER experience
