- Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to complete maintenance tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly.
- Mentor junior technicians, sharing expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in automotive diagnostics and repair, with a focus on mechanical knowledge.
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment relevant to vehicle maintenance.
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and powertrain components.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Experience with GM vehicles is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes is beneficial.
