Job Description

RPM is looking for a Lease Up Resident Coordinator to assist with the lease-up of our newly completed residential building in South Brunswick. This is a project based position.
The Resident Coordinator (“RC”) will act as the first point of contact responsible for the general management of incoming inquiries for all potential and current residents. The RC will assist current residents with entering maintenance work orders and completing the annual recertifications/renewals and applicants requesting assistance with processing their pre and new applications.
The RC will demonstrate professional presentation and provide excellent customer service to residents thus encouraging long-term tenancy. The RC will demonstrate this same high level of customer service to all particularly with RPM’s staff and many housing partners.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet and assist visitors while handling incoming calls, e-mails and checking phone messages.
- Assist residents and applicants with setting up and completing all tasks in Rent Café including leasing applications and work orders.
- Ensure proper follow-up with resident after work order completion.
- Build inquiry lists for lease-ups prior to lease commencement
- Assist the Property Managers and Assistant Property Managers with all general management of their assigned communities including working with vendors and the maintenance teams.
- Maintain orderly file rooms; replace move-out file with new resident file, purge expired applications and declined applications in-line with RPM’s Information Privacy and Security Program
- Practice exceptional customer service, professionalism and safe work practices daily
- Professional communication and appearance to always be adhered too.
- Partner and work closely with all departments within RPM Development Group
- Work beyond the narrow and specific job responsibilities to advance the goals of the company.

Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required/College degree preferred/APM a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good sales and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Technology literacy and a solid understanding of operating software, Yardi experience preferred.
- Bi-lingual a plus.
- Ability to work periodic flexible hours is required.
- Ability to work at property locations within or near transitional neighborhoods
- Ability to climb stairs, take elevators, bend, squat, reach overhead and lift up to 25 pounds at times.
