RPM Staffing is seeking Fiberoptic Cable Assembler’s in Allen, TX!
Assemblers are responsible for assembling electrical components and systems according to detailed blueprints and work instructions, typically involving tasks like wire stripping, soldering, crimping, and attaching connectors to build cable assemblies and other electronic products, while adhering to strict quality standards and safety procedures within a manufacturing facility; key duties include reading and interpreting blueprints, using small tools, putting together inactive electrical components, performing in-process inspections, and maintaining a clean work area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assembly operations:
Carefully assemble electrical components, including wires, connectors, and other parts, using hand tools and specialized equipment like wire strippers, crimpers, and soldering irons.
Blueprint interpretation:
Read and understand engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to accurately assemble products according to specifications.
Quality control:
Conduct in-process inspections to ensure components are properly assembled and meet quality standards, identifying and reporting any defects.
Material handling:
Properly handle and organize components, ensuring accurate inventory and preventing damage.
Testing and verification:
Perform basic testing on completed assemblies to verify functionality and compliance with requirements.
Safety compliance:
Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
Fine motor skills: Ability to handle small components with precision and dexterity.
Hand-eye coordination: Accurate placement of components and precise manipulation of tools
Basic math skills: Ability to measure and calculate dimensions accurately.
Attention to detail: Consistent focus on quality and accuracy throughout the assembly process.
Ability to follow instructions: Precise adherence to work instructions and procedures.
MUST be punctual
MUST be a team player willing to cross train
MUST have a good attitude and be willing to learn
SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday 7-4:30pm
Overtime is offered as needed (Saturday and some Sundays occasionally)
